Really wish people would get the timeline on this right. The controversy was AFTER Winkler was fired and had nothing to do with his dismissal. The actual reason for the dismissal was and still is only known by the involved parties as neither Winkler nor the band has come forth with an explanation... though Chris Bowes has made it pretty clear that there's some serious bad blood there. Furthermore, this trope does not apply. Most people have moved on from the allegations for any number of reasons and the controversy has not overshadowed the band's successful album release and touring since. Not saying that we should be ignoring the controversy, just saying that we shouldn't be contributing to misinformation about it.

Up To Eleven is a defunct trope
Changed line(s) 15 (click to see context) from:
** Very much intentional. As an AffectionateParody of power metal, it takes the cheesy parts of the genre and turns them [[UpToEleven all the way up]]. Despite lyrics that are incredibly silly, it still manages to be some pretty awesome music. Power metal fans in particular know that it's all just for fun, but enjoy it regardless. Notable lyrics include "A hero cannot be defeated, simply by making him die" and "Like tears of a unicorn lost in the rain, chaos will triumph this day."

** Parts of "The Epic Rage of Furious Thunder" are actually plagiarized from the poem "The Tay Bridge Disaster" by William [=McGonagall=], the last two lines of the poem are also the last two lines of the song.
** "The force of unicorns makes Zargothrax fight great!" Aside from being grammatically tangled (intentionally, making fun of awkward English by power metal bands whose lyricists aren't native speakers), the line has little to do with the rest of the song it appears in (though he does have an army of evil unicorns).
