• He Panned It, Now He Sucks!: A particularly extreme inversion. To say that the backlash against their generally positive review of The Last of Us Part II was overly vitriolic would be underselling the whole situation. On July 24, 2021, over a year after their initial review, Shelby and Matt released a video revealing that, since the review, they've had to deal with an extensive harassment campaign from detractors of the game, particularly on The Last of Us Part II's subreddit, which eventually escalated to a user sending himself fake death threats in order to frame them.
• Squick: For Halloween 2019, Shelby reviewed some horror games, and rated them for scariness on how many pooped panties out of five. A graphic was provided.
