• Alternate Character Interpretation: At the beginning of the episode, when Fry complained about how he "wished they had a robot who did something", was he being his usual Idiot Hero self, or was he snarking at Bender for being lazy? Throughout the episode he was just as irritated by Bender's laziness as everyone else, then again, this is Fry we're talking about.
• Fridge Horror: The plot resolves itself by having the Mini-Benders leave into space so they won't have to do anything anymore. The episode glosses over the possibility of them reaching other planets and consuming all the matter on them. Essentially the entire universe is at stake of being consumed by the Mini-Benders.
  • All of Earth's drinking water gets turned into alcohol. Thankfully, we don't see any children (or pregnant women) in the episode.
