YMMV / Full House S 8 E 05 To Joey With Love

• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Michelle gets mad at Joey first for being a serious substitute teacher instead of his normally joke self, then for personally sending her to the principal's office despite him saying the next student to talk out of turn (after the kids escalating out of control until he had to raise his voice at them) would be sent to the principal's office. She says to him "I thought you were my friend" to sentimental music. Later when the two get home she insults Joey in front of Danny and says it was for Joey sending her to the principal, but she can't deny what happened when Joey relays the whole story to Danny. When Danny tells her Joey made the right call, she makes another quip about Joey now being in a position of power and forgetting who his friends are. The show tries to make it look like Joey was too harsh on her for disciplining her by using the show's sentimental music track in the former event at school and the audience "Aww" track in the latter at home, but it ironically makes it even less convincing that she was undeserving of her punishment.
