• Complete Monster: Jameson is the leader of a group of teenage psychopaths whose favorite pastime is taking girls into the woods and hunting them for sport. Jameson himself has a body count surpassing twenty, with a focus on attractive young blond women. We first see him gun down a waitress named Gwen before he is later approached by the heroine Veronica. After taking her into the woods, Jameson informs her of the game and says the only reason he won't rape her is that women don't run as well after such an assault. When Veronica drugs and kills his three friends, Jameson is simply amused and offers to team up with Veronica on a cross-country killing spree.
• No Yay: Veronica falling in love with and trying to seduce the man who is effectively her father is really gross. It's made especially uncomfortable by the fact that he also raised her to be a killing-machine.
• Spiritual Adaptation: With the concept of a beautiful girl hunting down serial killers using basically the same methods as the serial killers she is hunting and has a platonic relationship with her male ally, it's basically a movie adaptation of Hack/Slash minus the goth look, instead going for more of a 1950s chanteuse aesthetic.
