• Bizarro Episode: Ray and Emmit's plots are completely absent, and therefore receive no development. Despite following Gloria, her plot receives very little development as well. Nothing here is even mentioned again until episodes eight and nine, where Paul Marrane returns and Gloria compares herself to MNSKY the android, respectively.
• Broken Base: This is a very divisive episode for digressing from the central plot of the whole season, especially considering that the biggest complaint of the season is its Slow-Paced Beginning. IMDB users rated it the low point of season three, yet despite this, people still praise it for its own unique plot and heavy amount of off-beat humor and symbolism. Zach Handlen of AV Club continually cites it as his favorite episode of the season.
• Genius Bonus: Howard Zimmerman's production company is named "Pleonexia Pictures." "Pleonexia" is defined as "the insatiable desire to have what rightfully belongs to others," which is fitting given Howard's actions in the episode.
