• Harsher in Hindsight: One Cutaway Gag features a secret level of Donkey Kong that involves Kong accidentally killing Pauline and him and Mario putting her dead body in a barrel and throwing it into the ocean. A later episode would have Peter turn the front of his house into a makeshift Donkey Kong level which he and Chris act out, only to end up accidentally breaking Lois' leg with a water "barrel" due to their stupidity.
• Take That, Scrappy!: Many were quite pleased when Lois calls out Peter for his behavior, likely in response to the fans accusing him of Flanderization. She rightfully rants at him for devolving into a Psychopathic Manchild, just wanting to do whatever he wants whenever, completely apathetic to the consequences of his actions.
