- Continuity Lockout: As a result of being a Compressed Adaptation, the game pretty much assumes you're already familiar with the anime and manga. Hope you weren't looking at getting the game as your introduction to the series, or else you won't get all the references.
- No Problem with Licensed Games: While not astounding by any means, the game has been warmly received overall by gamers for its fun, strategic combat and guild ranking systems, and by fans for its faithfulness to the source and wealth of unique character interactions.
- So Okay, It's Average: The general consensus is that the game is a perfectly solid JRPG and respectful adaptation of the source material, but the so-so visuals, repetitive gameplay, and scattershot storytelling won't be getting it any awards.
