• Complete Monster: Carla Rainer is a particularly murderous temptress who will go to any lengths to obtain a batch of valuable diamonds. Quickly establishing her ruthlessness by killing off two diamond brokers, Carla is fond of using paralyzing, painful snake venom to incapacitate her targets before delivering the killing blow. Later murdering a private detective and using her lover to drown one of her allies, Carla terrorizes and torments Timothy Bayer and his pregnant wife Angela to extort the diamonds from them, preying on Angela's phobia of snakes while threatening to kill the woman and her unborn child to force Timothy into compliance. Carla is so self-centered and greedy that when the love of her life and partner in crime experiences a minor setback in assisting her scheme, Carla doesn't hesitate to shoot him in the head with sneering contempt.
