• Alternative Character Interpretation: As stated by the author, Guile's characterization can't be said to be exactly like in the Chrono Cross canon (this is justified as the canon provides very little screen time for Guile and thus, Guile's personality is ambiguous and open for interpretation). The final result is Guile behaving like Spike Spiegel. Based on the small amount of information in the canon, it's analyzed that Guile and Spike behave rather similarly: both of them are relatively laid-back unless adrenaline kicks in or mentioning certain things (especially related to their past) in front of them (mentioning about Guile having dark power; mentioning about Julia in front of Spike).
