• Awesome Music: Most of El Bananero's songs go beyond the memes and become good songs that will be stuck in your head.
• Cargo Ship: Basically El bananero with an inflated doll.
• Chorus-Only Song: various of his original songs are remembered for their choruses. The latest one is "El Ganzo", which is basically an ode to masturbation.
• Crosses the Line Twice: He is the king of this trope in Latin America.
• Cliché Storm: Various of his videos used this resource with a purpose for a Played for Laughs effect.
• Do Not Do This Cool Thing: Most of El Bananero conducts are made for comedy purposes so Don't Try This at Home.
• Epic Riff: Thanks to metal band Asspera, there's one of this in "El Ganzo" song.
• Escapist Character: For his Latin American followers, El Bananero is the character all of them want to be (or to serve in the case of women fans.)
• Hilarious in Hindsight: In his "gameplay" video of Mortal Kombat 11 of The Terminator, John "Salchichón" Rambo shows up at the end to challenge Arnold. Eventually Rambo did join the game as well so the two can finally fight each other.
• Memetic Mutation: His videos are so hilarious that memes has been created from his videos, mostly from Trailerazos series. One of the most known in Latin American community is the one attached with Harry Potter.
• Nightmare Fuel: Despite the comedic tone of his videos, some parts can come as genuinely scary. The Easter Bunny is a good example, mainly for the fact his face looks creepy. Not helped by the fact he appears every Easter just to rape El Bananero (although this is Played for Laughs). Although he has one Pet the Dog moment when he frees El Bananero from being stuck in the washing machine (after raping him).
