YMMV / DuckTales (2017) S3 E17 "The Fight for Castle McDuck!"

• Alternative Character Interpretation: Was Scrooge claiming Dewey is his favorite great nephew really something he just said to make Matilda feel bad? Or did he just say that to Huey and Louie so they wouldn't resent him for considering Dewey the favorite?
• Epileptic Trees: Fans have started to theorize that Pepper is Webby's long lost mother due to them sharing similar personality traits along with the existing theories of F.O.W.L. being responsible for the disappearance of her parents.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Several were disappointed that Donald and Della didn't show up aside from Webby's family photo. It would've been nice getting to see them interact with their grandparents and aunt for the first time onscreen not to mention possibly getting in on the McDuck family drama with the rest. Though given the circumstances how Donald's Berserker Rage would make things worse and his fear of driving his family apart again would embitter him again, it is best if he sits this one out.
  • It'd also be interesting to see Fergus and Downy interacting with the real Donald after being fooled by Launchpad.
