• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • Mrs. Beakley is furious and terrified when she finds out that Webby tagged along with Scrooge to rescue her. It seems to be her Grandmother Bear instinct kicking in along with her overprotective nature. The Series Finale confirms that Beakley has always been terrified of FOWL kidnapping Webby, for many reasons.
  • Scrooge tells Webby to call her "Uncle Scrooge". "The Last Adventure!" changes it so he should've said, "Call me your father." as Webby is technically a clone of his.
• Heartwarming in Hindsight: Almost all the present day scenes come across as this in light of the finale, since it's Scrooge spending some quality time with his daughter.
• Unexpected Character:
  • The leader of S.H.U.S.H. is no one else but Ludwig von Drake.
  • The show's crew let slip early about the likes of Darkwing Duck and Don Karnage, but managed to keep the incorporation of the Gummi Bears a complete secret.
• Viewer Species Confusion: Before her name was revealed, some viewers thought Black Heron was a crow. Understandable, as herons are rarely seen in fiction.
