- Complete Monster: Scylla, the cruel queen of Odaku, is a slaving warmonger who easily matches Xenoz from the previous film in ambition and cruelty. Having struck a deal with the evil dragon Stendahl, Scylla uses the Shadow Dragons from his realm to suck the life from innocent people across the countryside in order to power her weapons, at one point unleashing the Shadow Dragons on a battlefield full of her own soldiers. Scylla conditions her people from birth to hate the neighboring nations of Norvagen and Draigar, and plunges all three nations into a war so she may take over the world and hand over the Dragon Realm to Stendahl.
- Nightmare Fuel:
- While the effects haven't improved much since the first film. The shadow dragons can be genuinely... unsettling.
- The fact that not only has Dev gone into a berserk rage more than once. It's apparently something that's happened to other members of his family.
- Tear Jerker:
- Targon and Aurora are attacked and murdered by the Shadow Dragons. Seeing this is enough to send poor Dev into a rage.
