• Harsher in Hindsight: The circumstances of Darkdramon's introduction in the fic involving him being beaten up by an invoked Dark Digivolution where the latter has full control of themselves was something the author never expected to happen in canon. Cue Digimon Ghost Game where not only does this happen, but it just so happens to involve Darkdramon's Champion Level form Sealsdramon as the Monster of the Week for that episode. Chapter 18's authors notes were even given an addendum which the author expresses genuine surprise that a canonical parallel to the events of said chapter even happened at all...
• Moral Event Horizon: Darkdramon graphically, painfully absorbs Toshiko and kills her. Them, even worse, he blamnes Sora, Toshiko's daughter for leaving the Digital World. Everyone hates him for it, both in-universe and out. In the present, him taking Iori in an earlier chapter as a hostage shows his sadism.
