- Alternative Character Interpretation:
- You could interpret Ame as a reincarnation of a Knight with Past-Life Memories, or simply a Daydream Believer that Had Read Too Much Fantasy Manga and is Crazy Sane. Ame could be considered a Maybe Magical, Maybe Mundanal Girlfriend.
- When the Serial Killer has Juu at her mercy, he screams for anybody to help him. Ame answers an One-Liner and proceeds to neutralize the Serial Killer. Was that a genuine Big Damn Heroes moment? Or was Ame watching Juu’s Cold-Blooded Torture just waiting the right moment for her Big Entrance?
- If Ame is not a Magical Girl, she is at the very least a Not Wearing Tights superheroine whose Crazy Sane mentality empowers her to Clap Your Hands If You Believe.
- Complete Monster: Kiyoshi Kakura is a Serial Killer who has brutally beaten at least 13 people to death. Once a normal boy, Kiyoshi one day suddenly snapped and raped his neighbor and sister figure Sakuya, her mind breaking due to the horrible incident. After snapping once again later on and killing an innocent high school girl and bragging about it, he and Sakuya, who became obsessed with these deaths, began their killing spree during rainy nights, including the main character Juu's friend Fujishima. After being lured out by Sakuya through an anonymous text, Juu encounters Kiyoshi after his latest kill, where he claims his victims were all aliens and it's his duty to kill them all as a covert agent. After trying and failing to kill Juu, Kiyoshi was arrested for the killings and then killed himself while in prison.
- Les Yay
- Madoka is a very androgynous woman, and Yukihime hangs out around her all the time. Not to mention that Madoka was the only thing between Yukihime and some poor bastard getting knifed, and we never see them apart from each other.
- Also, some of the ladies tend to get a little too close when they're talking to each other, especially when they're threatening each other's lives.
