• Scrappy Mechanic:
  • The combat. While the platform sections are considered the highlight of the game, the combat sections are considered the absolute worst part of the experience due to how clunky it is, since most of these segments requires the player to push enemies into spikes or other hazards, as Beebz can't kill enemies normally. In fact, the combat was so despised by many that Neon Splash ditches it entirely.
  • The Time Bubble is hard to aim, drops like a stone if you jump while launching it, and affects everything in its radius including Beebz, which somewhat defeats the purpose of using it to assist with timing your jumps (unless an obstacle or platform is particularly large). Its effects are also inconsistent after hitting obstacles, as some objects will randomly speed up/slow down if the object isn't completely covered by the bubble. Cue Beebz being knocked out by a spinning propeller suddenly gaining its speed back.
