• Strangled by the Red String: Esta has known Luft for less than 24 hours. She has done nothing but hate on him and knows almost nothing about him aside from him eating a lot, making messes, and being friends with her mother. After he follows her on a single job, he's in love with her and they share what is implied to be a romantic, mutual kiss. Sure, Esta eventually throws him off, but her reaction when it's happening is clearly played up as though the two are truly in love.
  • The author admitted this was a fault in the series, and was one of the factors in canceling the comic. She originally cut the romantic angle, then quickly added it back in. There was originally meant to be more stories with them dealing with demons, but they too were cut due to a change in direction.
