• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: With two endings involving characters that have no relevance to the actual plot:
  • One ending introduces Nene Kurushima, a huge fan of Makoto Karaki who wants him to kill Akane on the spot. Upon Makoto's refusal due to his amnesia, she kills Akane herself via Neck Snap and proceeds to beat Makoto to death. It's never brought up again.
  • Another ending reveals television talk show host Kenichi Minou to be a drug addict, who was supposed to meet with a drug dealer in the same storeroom Makoto and Akane were taking refuge in. The ensuing brawl between Kenichi and Akane has him arrested for drug abuse, but Makoto dies from concussion due to an accidental impact to his skull during the fight.
• It's Short, So It Sucks!: The most reoccurring complaint about the game is that it can be beaten in around two hours, which makes the asking price somewhat steep.
