Fans sympathize with her due to her struggling to come to terms with her own sexual orientation, while at the same time she gets hatred for rebelling against her parents, still trusting her uncle Esteban after he attempted to ruin their lives and cheating on Karina with Mauricio.
• Diagnosed by the Audience: Alma clearly has some unidentified attachment problems, after everything happened between her and Dario in the final of Season 1. A year later, she is still a wreck suffering from PTSD, has sexual nightmares with him, hallucinates seeing him everywhere, is incapable of moving on from what happened and crumbles in the middle of the night after watching a video with him.
• Draco in Leather Pants: Despite their cruel actions against Alma, Dario and Lys qualify as this.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Karina for being a supportive friend (later girlfriend) and a Morality Pet to Zoe.
