• Awesome Music: Their catalog is small, but damn does it pack a punch.
• Broken Base: Debates on whether Cult Leader is up there with Gaza or the band's constant attacks at Gaza itself is a reoccurring problem with fans. An accurate assumption regarding the side of the fence that someone is on can be made just by asking them what they think of A Patient Man: if they love it, they've accepted Cult Leader as their own entity, and if they hate it, they miss Gaza and wish they would go back to the latter's straightforward mathcore sound.
  • A Patient Man. Is it a modern masterpiece that truly solidified them as a band that found itself, or is it a few great tracks that you have to wade through a bunch of boring "Wretched World" rewrites to get to?
• Fandom Rivalry: With Gaza fans. Gaza fans absolutely despise Cult Leader for constantly throwing Take Thats to Gaza, while Cult Leader fans are tired of Gaza fans asking for Gaza to return despite Cult Leader being up par (if not better) than Gaza.
• Memetic Mutation: "MAKE CULT LEADER GAZA AGAIN", A take on Donald Trump's infamous slogan "Make America Great Again".
