YMMV / Cross Road

Go To

  • Awesome Music:
    • "CROSS ROAD": Akki's magnificent voice, and this song that lifts you into the clouds, even if the lyrics are demonic.
    • "Contract of Blood" illustrates Amduscias' sweet enticement, and Niccolo's whirlwind of feelings before and after he accepts.
      Amduscias: "You called me?"
      Niccolo: "I didn't"
Amduscias: "That's a lie, you want it... this devilish music."
  • Creepy Awesome: How a lot of fans view Amduscias.
  • Cry for the Devil: Seeing the story from Amduscias' perspective, he cares so much for Niccolo, but can't do anything for him that doesn't hurt him.
  • Fan Nickname:
    • Amduscias is Amuchan or Amusama, depending on which side of him you're talking about. Even his actor calls him Amuchan sometimes (even as an adlib in the actual performances).
    • The double-cast characters names fused with their actors', to describe the different versions of the characters.
      • Asha — Riri-sha and Ari-sha
      • Armand — Yamamand and Hatamand
      • Niccolo Paganini — Baccini and Kentini. In addition, in one interview, Akki (Amduscias) described the difference in their performances by comparing them to white wine (Kentini) and red wine (Baccini) (this comparison was made about Akki himself and the actor he was double-cast with in Mozart! in 2002, his debut role).
  • Memetic Mutation: "''Uso da, motomete~ru''" ("That's a lie, you want it")— Random charms/ more tickets/ whatever fans are tempted to spend money on related to this show.
  • Tear Jerker: Pick a part from Act 2, any part. It's like a collection of different angles of tearjerkers, from Teresa's death, Elisa leaving Niccolo, Niccolo's death and Amduscias' farewell to him, even the scene with Berlioz...
  • Visual Effects of Awesome: Even the lighting in this play is amazing!
    • The red light that's constantly on Amduscias, making him look otherworldly.
    • At the end of Niccolo's BSoD Song, he stands alone holding his violin, and a red light falls on just his side, catching his silhouette. The light falls right on the bow in his hand, making it glow red.
