• Base-Breaking Character: Ever since Armin has become the central host of Comicbookcast 2 he has become an increasingly polarizing figure. His fans defend him on the grounds that he is fairly good at market analysis and predictions for futere movie projects, and that he dressess up as superheroes to visit hospitalized children, while his detractors have pointed out numerous instances of hypocrisy, clear MCU-bias,as well as cringe-inducing episode intros,clickbait videos, and constantly milking the same topic for multiple videos. And that's not even getting into his self-admitted status as a "social justice warrior", which is a whole different level of divisive.
• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • Just about every episode/video crosses the line with their humor, which involves sex, race, and or popular topics abound.
  • While the Comic Book Cast loves to cross the line for the sake of comedy the funniest example has to be the show long jab at then internet phenomenon Joseph Kony Episode 30 "My Little Kony".
  • Ben also manages to shock the rest of the crew into silence when talking about Wonder Women. FYI he said something about women and the kitchen.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Some of the jokes about Ben are less funny after he left the site.
• He Panned It, Now He Sucks!:
  • The group catches this a lot for their views on things like the Christopher Nolan Batman movies, and their extremely devoted fans, "The Nolanites".
  • Joel got a little of this for his negative review of Red Hood & The Outlaws #9.
  • The ever present Man of Steel arguments and a certain plot twist in Iron Man 3 also drew the fans' ire.
