• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: In Christmas with Silver, there's a random live action scene of a man^note Who's Alex, who voices Silver himself dressed as a nerd watching the episode and exclaiming that Silver finally looks cool as a gag.
• Continuity Lock-Out: Unless you're familiar with Baleena Production's other videos you're probably going to be extremely confused over who the ripped, purple echidna is who speaks in an exaggerated Austrian accent and why he keeps showing up.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: in Christmas with Sonic in Paradise, Manic reverts to a savage-like state while stuck alone on the island and at one point mirrors the pose of the Caveman Spongebob meme, which wouldn't become an actual meme until later in the year IRL, something Manic smugly points out in the following episode Christmas with Silver.
  Manic: [When faced with having to listen to the radio] This is caveman technology! [Does the Caveman Spongebob meme pose before turning to the viewer] by the way, I did this last year BEFORE it was a meme so uh, I win the internet!
  Sonia: [off-screen] ...Who are you talking to?
• Unintentional Period Piece: With the series starting in 2011, more than a few jokes are indicative of the general attitude of the Sonic fandom at that particular point in time such as Sonic wanting to avoid the extended cast to the point of outright saying he doesn't like any of them (Mirroring the sentiment at the time that "Sonic's Friends were ruining the franchise") and especially how much abuse was lumped on to Silver due to the reviled Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and how he was generally seen as a flat, boring character who had no place in the main cast. Though as the episodes went on, all of these jokes mostly faded over the years as fan opinions changed.
