YMMV / Charmed S7E22 Something Wicca This Way Goes

• Broken Base: Some fans would have been happy with the series ending here, finding Season 8 unnecessary. Others argue that it left too many loose threads hanging and would have been an Esoteric Happy Ending; implying the sisters were going to just walk away from demons and stay disguised for the rest of their lives.
• Harsher in Hindsight: Sheila makes Darryl insist that this will be the last time he helps the sisters. He's Put on a Bus the next season, never to appear again, so she gets her wish after all.
• Older Than They Think: While the twist is the Charmed Ones using astral projection, hand waved with Prue having showed Leo how to do it, Phoebe had previously used a form of it in "Witch Way Now" when she went to Cole in the wasteland. Mrs Donovan had used the exact same version of the power in "Carpe Demon" while explaining that Mrs Winterbourne has taught her how to use it, and Rex had likewise used a form in "Wicca Envy", confirming it wasn't a Prue exclusive power.
• Retroactive Recognition: One of the first acting roles for Justin Baldoni, who would later go on greater success with a lead role in Jane the Virgin.
• Take That, Scrappy!: Inspector Sheridan is done in by her own stupidity, forcing her way into the Manor against Homeland Security's wishes, and falling prey to an energy ball from Zankou.
