• Broken Base: Kyle being made a Whitelighter at the end. Some feel it was far too undeserved - especially since he left Sheridan in a coma for weeks, essentially Mind Raped the sisters and continually tried to kill Leo just to hurt the Avatars. Others feel that he was a Well-Intentioned Extremist who'd suffered a Trauma Conga Line, and simply being killed by the Avatars was too cruel an end for him - and that becoming a Whitelighter is as much a chance to atone and make amends as a reward.
• Fridge Brilliance:
  • Why does Phoebe see the death of Piper from "All Hell Breaks Loose"? A reminder that losing Piper was what convinced her to make a deal with the Source and how that led to her losing Prue. It's also Foreshadowing that the Avatars can reverse this by rewinding time, just as Tempus did to prevent Piper's death.
  • Why does she see Miles, when he was only a two-episode character? In that episode, she had to learn to let the Angel of Death take him and accept that death was a part of life.
• Older Than They Think: The Aesop of this arc - that negative emotions like anger, fear and sadness are vital to being human, and one can't feel joy all the time - predates Inside Out by ten years.
• Signature Scene: The most memorable scene is Phoebe's premonition where she has to relive all the losses over the last seven years.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: It's baffling why Patty wasn't shown in the montage of all the losses. It's not as though Shannen Doherty's image was an issue; the premonition of her death in should have sufficed. It could have also paralleled Phoebe's own angst at losing her mother before she knew her to how Wyatt and Chris were reacting to losing Leo.
