YMMV / Carry On Escaping

  • Hilarious in Hindsight: The script contains several similarities to 'Allo 'Allo!, which would first air nine years after it was written and featured Kenneth Connor as a series regular. The two most notable instances of this are Muggins' attempt to escape via a catapult (which would be done in the first episode of the fourth series of 'Allo 'Allo!, "Prisoners of War") and Muggins' escape submarine bursting into Kommandant Fokker's office (mirroring Herr Flick's escape attempts in the finale, "A Winkle in Time").
