• Accidental Innuendo
  • Thanks to the writers not paying attention to Dayna's age, her Student/Teacher Romance looks very creepy.
  • Dayna appears to moan in orgasm when she's being tortured by Servalan.
• Nightmare Retardant:
  • For Half-Human Hybrid Super Soldiers-in-the-making the Animals look very cuddly. Their mournful expressions make you wonder why Dayna doesn't just give them a hug instead of shooting them.
  • According to the script those Bridge Bunnies are actually mutoids, but have lost the creepy cyborg head for a graduated bob. Apparently this was done because the mutoid headcaps had trouble staying on.
• Special Effects Failure:
  • Ogg knocks a dummy dressed like Dayna off a cliff.
  • Just the usual flashing light would have been enough to convey Dayna's brainwashing scene.
• Squick: Dayna is in her early twenties (if not younger), while Justin looks to be in his fifties. They last saw each other at least six years ago, when, it's implied, they were attracted to each other.
• Trapped by Mountain Lions: The other characters are stuck on Xenon Base repairing Scorpio. They return just in time to rescue Dayna, if no-one else.
• The Woobie: Poor Ogg.
