- Epileptic Trees: The existence of a Blake clone inevitably led to these, notably in "Terminal", where Servalan claims that Blake is dead, and the final episode where Blake is killed by Avon, fans have speculated that it was actually the clone who died.
- Replacement Scrappy: Brian Croucher's version of Travis isn't exactly bad per se, but he comes across as far more thuggish Dumb Muscle than Stephen Greif's version ever did, and is less popular with the fandom as a result. It doesn't help that the mask they made for Croucher looks like a cheap Halloween costume.
- WTH, Costuming Department?:
- The series often had strange costumes, but those of the weapons technician and his bond-slave◊ take the cake. As mentioned in this review, "one wonders how a labour-grade bond-slave can engage in manual work when dressed like Ming the Merciless."
- Travis has had his Facial Horror eyepatch replaced by a Cheap Costume version.
