- Mexicans Love Speedy Gonzales: Despite some seriously unflattering portrayals of local life in Hawaii, extremely low budget, and some stale acting with bad timing, the film seems to be popular among Hawaiians who have seen it. In fact, all but one of the positive reviews of the film on IMDB are from Hawaii.
