- Harsher in Hindsight: The protagonist's line to Strawberry about how edible things like the strawbunnies are meant to be eaten hits a different way, once you've played Cherrywitched!.
- Jerkass Woobie: The protagonist in the routes where they're mean to Strawberry. Yes they're being unnecessarily harsh to her and their lack of remorse for it doesn't put them in a good light. But the game heavily implies that this behavior is a result of heavy depression and paranoia leading them to believe that Strawberry is only acting nice to take advantage of them. It's also Truth in Television. Irritability or anger are common symptoms of depression.
- The Woobie:
- Strawberry was sent to an isolated pocket dimension by her superiors to help people want to keep living. However, due to being a rather inexperienced witch, she was unable to keep any of her visitors from leaving the bakery for the forest again and would always find their dead bodies the day right after they left. This broke her to the point she's considered suicide herself and she'll go through with it in the routes where the protagonist makes it clear to her she cannot help them and that they don't want her help.
- The Strawbunnies. Nearly every route has something horrible happen to them, from losing their mother figure to being Eaten Alive to being abandoned by the protagonist when they flee Strawberry's bakery.
