YMMV / Avatars II: When Qwaritch Takes Revenge

• Canon Defilement: The story violates the canon of everything brought into it in all kinds of ways. And deliberately so, as the author would later admit.
• Fridge Horror: So if the Navis have sex with their "tentacle things", which they also use to tame Pandoran wildlife... doesn't this mean that they're essentially taming the wildlife by raping it into submission?
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The fanfic opening up with it bringing up that Qwaritch isn't dead becomes a lot funnier given that in the sequel, Quaritch had an Avatar clone made as a contingency in the event that he died during their final battle, so, in technicality, the fanfic was right.
• Rooting for the Empire: Initially played straight then subverted. Qwaritch enjoys killing Navis by the fuckton, but then realizes that he can have sex with them instead.
• So Bad, It's Good: It should be clear that this is not remotely good fanfiction, but it is certainly entertaining.
• Squick:
  • When the random sex scene had two sentences devoted to it, it was funny. Part IV... um... ew.
  • Qwaritch's um...story about his encounter with a Korean transvestite (see Combat Tentacles on the main page).
