• Crack Pairing: Tyrion Lannister & Allyria Dayne. No interaction in the books, especially with tyrion's 2 canonical interests. But brought together due to Tywin needing to figure out someone to keep the main branch lions going.
• Dropped a Bridge on Him: Littlefinger is unceremoniously outdone by Lord Yohn Royce offscreen in a bid to bring justice for the attack on Jon Frost.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Part of the reason that Catelyn hates Jon in canon is that she sees him as a threat to Robb, here she stops hating Jon because he hurt Robb! ^note To elaborate, Catelyn canonically feared that Jon, a bastard son of her husband, would scheme to steal her son's birthright, causing her to treat him badly, in this story, Jon accidentally burns Robb while they are playing when he first discovers his Firebending, which is what clues Catelyn in to his true heritage, allowing their relationship to be far better afterwards, because it removes this factor.
• Moral Event Horizon:
  • The Avatar is a legendary figure in this universe, destined to be the savior of the world. So much so, that when The Free Folk find out about him living at the wall now, they actually petition for a truce with The North surrounding their belief in the Avatar's mission. So, when Robert Baratheon still condemns Jon to death just because he's also the son of Lyanna and Rhaegar, it was a kind of point of no return for many.
  • Ramsey Gore goes over the end by killing Rickon just because Theon wasn't subduing him fast enough.
