- Win Back the Crowd: Lepers Caress and Unwelcome created a not-insignificant amount of renewed interest in the band after a string of lackluster albums that gave people the impression that Arsis was a flash-in-the-pan incapable of repeating the success of their early material, and Malone even said that they were his attempt to redeem the band and reward the fans who stuck with them.
