YMMV / Angel S01E02 "Lonely Hearts"

• Ho Yay: Angel talks to several people in a bar to find someone in trouble, one of whom (a man) dresses exactly like Angel and thought Angel was hitting on him.
• Hollywood Homely: The demon transfers from a male host who looked like an underwear model to a girl who was alternately described as "Sarah plain and tall" and "that dowdy chick" that Cordy declared must be loaded to have such an attractive paramour. She's a gorgeous blonde girl who is no less attractive than anyone else on the show. Ultimately subverted in that the demon really knows how to make its hosts look good, and they all end up looking absolutely gorgeous when it's in control.
