• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • Marcy's line about how the music box is with someone they can trust (i.e. Hop-Pop) becomes a lot harder to enjoy when Anne finds out what Hop-Pop really did with it 5 episodes after this.
  • Marcy's advice to Anne to follow her head instead of her heart becomes this in "True Colors", as it turns out that Marcy sent herself and her friends on Amphibia out of desperation of the thought of getting separated from them because of moving.
