• Alternative Character Interpretation: While going to Tom Ford, was Marcus telling the truth when he said that he is now friends with Keanu? If so, did Keanu recommend Marcus to Tom Ford to help him get back together with Sasha or to screw with him so he would end up buying a ridiculously expensive suit?
• Awesome Music: Keanu Reeves being introduced with "Sail" by AWOLNATION being played in the background.
• Crowning Moment of Funny:
  • The whole part of the movie with Keanu Reeves in it.
  • The stunned expressions by Jenny and Marcus as Keanu walks into the restaurant. Sasha takes a picture of their faces because "you only capture that shit once!"
    Marcus (in slow motion): The hickey guy is KEANU REEVES?!
• Crowning Moment of Heartwarming:
  • Marcus asking Sasha if he can hold her purse for her. It Makes Sense in Context.
  • Sasha's third restaurant's menu is revealed to be based on Marcus' mother's recipes.
• Memetic Mutation: Keanu Reeves' scene where he's crying from the audio of an animal being killed while eating a meal has been parodied by putting other pieces of audio for him to react to. One particular favorite is "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" from Cyberpunk 2077, a game Keanu was also in.
• One-Scene Wonder: Keanu Reeves is only in a brief portion of the movie, but he's been universally praised as one of the most memorable parts.
• Watched It for the Representation: While a fairly standard romantic comedy plot-wise, the film gained attention for following two romantic Asian leads, a demographic not commonly represented in the genre.
• The Woobie: Marcus and Sasha both in their own ways. Marcus lost his mom in an accident and watched his father fall apart, while Sasha was largely neglected by her own parents who had to work all the time.
