-> ''"Ooh, Wrestlicious baby"''

Welcome to TV Tropes, where all the cool people hide/ We're the number 1 resource for everything worldwide/ [[TVTropesWillRuinYourLife It'll ruin your life and crush your dreams and wishes]]/ Yes TV Tropes is Wrestlicious.

''Wrestlicious'' is an American television show produced by Wrestling/JimmyHart and Lottery winner Jonathan Vargas who funded the show with his winnings. It's an all-women's wrestling show and it is purely SoBadItsGood. It is a show of over the top gimmicks (who each get introduced with a catchy little rap like the one above), pink ring ropes, cheesy segments and a commentator that let looses a HurricaneOfPuns in every match (while sounding eerily like Creator/StanLee). And yet, it features some of the top women wrestlers in North America including many of Wrestling/{{SHIMMER}} stars. Its flagship show is ''Take Down''.

The entire show can be summed up in [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ei93yTpJSj0 this video]].

!Provides examples of:

* AddedAlliterativeAppeal: Charlotte's finisher, the "Confederate Crush".
* AdvertisedExtra: Malibu [=McKenzie=], Shauna-Na, Super Nova and Jimmy's Angels who were important enough to get a rap solo but barely appeared on the show.
* AllAmericanFace: Glory. [[spoiler: She wins the ''Wrestlicious'' title too]].
* AlliterativeName: Kandi Kisses, Kickstart Katie, Malibu [=McKenzie=], Cousin Cassie, Tyler Texas...
* AmazonBrigade: Jimmy's Angels.
* AmazonianBeauty: Alexandra The Great.
* AnIcePerson: Autumn Frost who "is so cold her outfit turned blue".
* [[AsHimself As Herself]]: Lacey Von Erich, the only girl on the show who doesn't have a gimmick. Also Wrestling/DaizeeHaze is pretty much playing the same character she normally plays on the indies as Marley.
* BadassAdorable
* BadassBoast: See GratuitousRap below.
* BareYourMidriff: Try looking for those who don't
* BarelyThereSwimWear: Malibu [=McKenzie=] and her bikinis.
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished: The ''Wrestlicious'' girls will never get bruised or bloodied, or even have their hair badly messed up despite beating the crap out of each other.
* BellyDancer: Aziza.
* BigApplesauce: Toni The Top. And Brooke Lynn (despite being played by a [[{{Joisey}} New Jersey girl]]).
* BikerBabe: Kickstart Katie. Also a female BadassBiker.
* BoisterousBruiser: Brooke Lynn.
* TheCameo: Several notable wrestling names repeatedly appeared in the "Are You Smarter Than A Male Wrestler?" segments.
** Also, AustinAries was a referee on one episode.
* CanonName: Marley was only given a first name but according to Daizee Haze, the character's last name is Sebastian.
* CatchPhrase: Boot Camp Bailey's "Atten-tion!"
* CatholicSchoolGirlsRule: The Naughty Girls, played by ''Wrestling/{{SHIMMER}}'''s Portia Perez and Nicole Mathews.
* TheCheerleader: Averted with Amber Lively who is sweet and perky.
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: Bandita is proud to say that her restaurant doesn't have a roach problem - the rats ate them all.
* CompanionCube: Sierra Sheraton has a stuffed chihuahua she calls "Gucci".
* CoolMask: Super Nova.
* CountryMouse: Sweet little Cousin Cassie from down on the farm.
* CuteBruiser: Felony of a fairly average size but fights pretty rough, unsurprisingly.
* DelinquentHair: Juvi Hall's hair has pink streaks in it. An obvious sign she's no good.
* DistaffCounterpart: Glory is of course one to Wrestling/HulkHogan, TropeCodifier of the AllAmericanFace. Fans have suspected that Coco Montegro is one to Wrestling/KofiKingston.
* DreadfulMusician: Kandi Kisses who must lip synch during live performances.
* DrillSergeantNasty: Boot Camp Bailey.
* DumbBlonde: The "Are You Smarter Than A Male Wrestler" segment which had the girls going up against a dumb blond [[DistaffCounterpart male]].
* EverythingsBetterWithPrincesses: Maui is apparently an Island Princess and Autumn Frost is the Ice Princess because of course their characters wouldn't be complete without the title.
* FaceHeelTurn: Kandi Kisses on the first episode when it was revealed she was lipsynching during her performance.
* FanService: The "Wrestlicious Spotlight" segment which was 30 seconds of one of the girls on the beach in a bikini.
* FauxActionGirl: A handful of the girls who were trained for the show but didn't get into the ring that much. Maui is probably the biggest example. Her opening rap says "I pack punch like molten lava" and she is defeated by Toni the Top in under a minute.
** Boot Camp Bailey qualifies as well. She is a DrillSergeantNasty but played by a model so she's never shown actually training the girls herself.
** Aziza appears ready to compete in a match but it gets changed and she's never seen again.
* GenkiGirl: Amber Lively, Tyler Texas, Cousin Cassie, Shauna-Na and Lil' Slamm.
* GenreBlind: Paige Webb is Genre Blind enough to keep opening the clearly pervy e-mails she gets from her fans.
* GirlPosse: Kandi Kisses has her backup dancers The Gumdrops. Shauna-Na also has a gang of other 50s girls The Be-Bops.
* GirlishPigtails: Cousin Cassie, Tyler Texas.
* GirlsBehindBars: A theme with Felony's skits.
* GirlyBruiser: Hmm Charlotte, Cousin Cassie, Malibu [=McKenzie=], Sierra Sherraton, almost too many to name.
** Emphasised with the ''Wrestlicious'' title being a tiara.
* GranolaGirl: Marley (Daizee Haze under her usual gimmick but a different name)
* GratuitousRap: The first couple of episodes opened with these as a nifty way for the characters to introduce themselves. It's almost amazing how many words actually rhyme with (or at least come close to rhyming with) "Wrestlicious".
* HelloNurse: The entire cast was promoted as such.
* HollywoodNuns: Sister Ophelia wears the traditional 'penguin' habit and also carries a cane around.
* HollywoodVoodoo: White Magic. Armed with voodoo dolls, magic stick and magic powder.
* HospitalHottie: Malibu [=McKenzie=] in her only skits on the show. She's strangely advertised as a bikini babe but appears as this for some reason.
* IronicNickname: White Magic is a villainous voodoo sorceress. White magic is typically thought of as healing and positive.
** The Naughty Girls' names are Faith, Hope and Charity. They're heels.
* JailBait: Juvi Hall, a SpiritualSuccessor of the ''GLOW'' character with the trope name.
* KickingAssInAllHerFinery: Charlotte does indeed wrestle in that big poofy skirt of hers.
* LadyOfWar: Alexandra The Great.
* LovableJock: Amber Lively, the nice perky cheerleader.
* LovelyAngels: The Naughty Girls, The Lunch Ladies, The Southern Belles, TNT, The Bristols. And then there's Jimmy's Angels...
* MagicRealism: White Magic's Voodoo Dolls and spells apparently work.
* MsFanservice: Inverted. Sister Ophelia and the Lunch Ladies are the only characters that don't provide Fanservice.
* NaughtyNuns: Averted. Sister Ophelia is a non Fanservice character managing the Naughty Girls. Though she does cane the girls if they misbehave and keeps a close eye on the money box.
* NerdsAreSexy: Paige Webb.
* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: See TakeThat below.
* NonActionGuy: None of the males on the show are actual wrestlers.
* TheOneGuy: The all-women's show has only about five on screen male characters.
* PantyShot: Amber Lively's cartwheel demonstrates both her athleticism and gives the audience a glimpse up her skirt. Charlotte too, though she's wearing pantaloons.
* ParasolOfPrettiness: Charlotte and Savannah carry them around.
* PinkMeansFeminine: The ring ropes are pink to remind you that it's an all women show.
* PlentyOfBlondes: Charlotte, Marley, Kandi Kisses, Cousin Cassie, Tyler Texas, Malibu [=McKenzie=], Boot Camp Bailey, Juvi Hall.
* PrettyInMink: Autumn Frost has [[http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120303205634/wrestlicious/images/a/a4/Autumn-Frost_PROFILEjpg.jpg furry covers on her boots and around her waist]].
* PungeonMaster: The commentator.
* PunnyName: Names like Brooke Lynn, Paige Webb, Juvi Hall, you get the picture.
* RunningGag: In the form of segments such as Paige Webb's "You've Got Male" where she gets a pervy e-mail from a fan each time.
** Felony keeps trying to escape her parole officer any chance she gets.
* SassyBlackWoman: Lil' Slamm the rapper.
* SexySpectacles: Paige Webb who removes them to wrestle (to the disappointment of the commentator).
* ShakingHerHairLoose: Paige Webb again who shakes her hair out of its bun at the start of matches.
* SheCleansUpNicely: Not probably the intended effect but Wrestling/MercedesMartinez isn't exactly known for her looks. But in her costume as Maria Toro, she's surprisingly pretty looking.
* SouthernBelle: Charlotte and Savannah.
* SpicyLatina: Maria Toro and Bandita.
* SpiritualSuccessor: The show is essentially a reboot of ''[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_of_Wrestling Women of Wrestling (WOW)]]'', which itself was the successor to ''[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorgeous_Ladies_of_Wrestling G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling).]]'' A couple of ''WOW'''s girls played characters on the show too. Also of CRUSH, an extremely short lived promotion from 2003. They taped a pilot and shopped it around, but it never got picked up.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: Well duh, it's a women's wrestling show.
* TakeOurWordForIt: You'll have to take Jimmy Hart's word about Kandi Kisses and her horrific singing.
* TakeThat
** Lizzy Valentine confirmed that Kandi Kisses is a TakeThat to BritneySpears.
** Sierra Sheraton is of course one to ParisHilton.
* UpToEleven: Daizee Haze (Marley) and Lorelei Lee (Tyler Texas) have their normal gimmicks cranked up with Marley practising yoga in the ring and getting help from her "spirit guide" while Tyler Texas strums a big pink guitar down to the ring and says "yee-haw" before nearly every move.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: A promo hyping up the debut of The Bristols (played by The Blossom Twins) aired on one of the later episodes but the characters never appeared again.
* WhereDaWhiteWomenAt: Black owner JV Rich is never seen without a bikini-clad woman, and each woman he's seen with is white.
* WorldOfActionGirls: Well, some of them are models or such with no wrestling training but even they have a segment dedicated to getting them that training.
* WorldOfPun: Not just puns on the title either, commentary is an especially copious source of it
