Avengers: Infinite Wars

Wham Episode in this series.
  • Lost: James Bucky Barnes finds an oubliette with a comatose Celeste Morne (with the Muur Talisman) in the HYDRA Siberian Base.
  • We are Protectors: An alternate viewpoint following the protectors around, the main significance of this is that Spar convinces Boba Fett to join their group, effectively changing his story beyond what was in canon.
  • A Rising Front: Ultron makes his main appearance in the Star Wars galaxy, instantly throwing everything off balance by attacking EVERY faction at once.
  • The New Team: The Avengers back on Earth (Tony and Clint along with new recruits) join the Masters of the Mystic Arts and their assorted allies to defeat Karness Muur once and for all. Tony explicitly compares it to how the original Avengers came together.
  • Mandalorian Summit: Despite the skepticism all around, Satine's called summit of the different Mandalorian factions actually manages to broker a temporary alliance between Death Watch (well, her sister's warriors) and the Protectors in the face of Ultron keeping up his attacks on everyone. Also, Vision finally reunites with the Avengers, leaving only Wanda to make the team whole again.
  • To Gain You Must Lose: Wanda is reunited with the rest of the Avengers, bringing the displaced team up to full strength, and Asajj is revealed to be the daughter of Ego, making her Peter Quill's half-sister.
  • Götterdämmerung: The surprise arrival of Thor on Mortis not only turns the tide in the battle against the Son, but also provides the Galaxy Far Far Away-based Avengers a means to communicate with Earth.
  • What's Our Next Move: After receiving word of what happened in the Citadel, Darth Sidious/Palpatine of all people surprises Dooku (and the readers) by declaring that he’s willing to enact a ceasefire between the Republic and the Separatists to deal with Ultron (obviously planning to provoke new hostilities afterwards by playing on the existing tensions between certain parties).
  • Onderon Incursion: After scanning a group of non-identified aliens, Karen discovers that the Chitauri (the same aliens that invaded New York in 2012) are in Onderon.
  • Padawan Lost: Rather than appearing later on in canon and as a villain during the age of the Empire, the legendary Grand Admiral Thrawn makes his appearance in this chapter and judging by the framing of his introduction, this could possibly be a Thrawn that is on the side of good.
  • Tython: Anakin has a second round with Darth Vader, who reveals that he is a potential dark future (and possibly an Alternate Self) of the Jedi Knight. Later, after an entire year in the Galaxy Far, Far Away, the Avengers, aided by the Jedi, find a functional Infinity Gate and establish contact with Earth… only for Iron Man and Hawkeye walk through it, seconds after its activation.
  • This One Goes to 101: An alternate Peter Parker who has been trained and raised as a Jedi appears on Coruscant, and he and Avenger Peter are pulled into the events of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
  • Ultron Imperative: Ultron drones attack Naboo, Mandalore and Raxus Secundus at the same time, only in the end it's revealed that Ultron’s main target is Kamino, while the opposition is preoccupied.
  • The Fall of Kamino: Rather than the Imperial Navy as seen in the Bad Batch, it would be Ultron who would deliver the crushing loss, destruction and conversion of Kamino into one of his foundries, crippling the Republic's main military branch and devastating the morale of the Clone Troopers with the conversion of 99.
  • ... And Evil Keeps on Plotting is a pivotal chapter being the next shift in the story. After The defeat of Ultron at the start of the season, The Sith in all its forms from Sidious, Maul and the True Sith begin making their own moves and plans to assert themselves into the galactic stage, the heroes all unaware of the coming dangers.
