“Two Gun Mickey” is a 1934 Classic Disney Short starring Mickey Mouse.
Mickey is a gunslinger in The Wild West. Minnie Mouse, who is transporting money to the bank, gets stuck on the road and Mickey comes in to help her, but she claims that "I can take care of myself!" Later, she runs into Pete and his gang of bandits, so Mickey and his horse ride in to the rescue.
- Colossus Climb: Mickey climbs on top of Pete at one point during their fight.
- Cowboy Episode: Takes place in the old west and everyone is dressed like a cowboy (and cowgirl).
- Damsel in Distress: Minnie Mouse, as usual!
- Damsel out of Distress: Minnie claims she can take care of herself and doesn’t need a man’s help.
- Ironic Echo: When Pete captures Minnie, he sarcastically throws her line "I can take care of myself" at her.Pete: So the little lady can take care of herself, no?
Minnie: Yes! [slaps Pete] - Right Out of My Clothes: Pete upper-cuts Mickey so hard he flies out of his boots, chaps, holster and gloves.
