Uprooted is a Plants vs. Zombies fan comic written and illustrated by Frankie Fluffyglass, who posts the comic daily on their Twitter account.
The story follows Alice, who has recently moved to Castaway Shores, where they become a target of interest for Dr. Edgar Zomboss. For you see, Alice is not entirely human...

Tropes:
- Bland-Name Product: Brainstagram stands in for Instagram.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: Among the original trio, Alice is blonde, Nate is brunette, and Patrice is a redhead.
- Blue with Shock: Alice goes blue in the face when they watches Nate absolutely fail to dance...at a dancing competition against Electric Boogie.
- Childish Tooth Gap: Inverted; despite being a full-grown adult, Christine still has a gap between her front teeth.
- Girlish Pigtails: Patrice's bowlcut has been altered to include two fat pigtails.
- Queer Establishing Moment: One occurs for Alice near the end of Act 1, where Immorticia says "Girl...", then corrects herself to "Gender Neutral".
- Race Lift: Nate, who was white in the original comics, is drawn with a much darker skintone here.

- Wimp Fight: The Imps' plan of violence in Act 4 results in a slap fight between Zip and a Peashooter.
- Yellow/Purple Contrast: When Super Brainz first appears, Alice's reaction has a yellow and purple background divided by a lightning shot.
