(sic), also known as TAIMVOIP, is an original MS Paint Fanventure by "o," the author of cool and new web comic, created upon the opening of o's Patreon. As the title says, unlike cool and new web comic, the story is original fiction instead of a fanwork.
The comic follows Crabstack, a stack of infinite converging crabs at a beach who notices that the beach goers have been censored. A news broadcast reveals that this is to prevent a great disaster known as "Dissipation" from happening — however, Crabstack and his friend Free Smiley declare the person responsible to be the villain of the journey and go on a quest to stop this Obfuscation covering everyone's bodies.
Tropes cannot be copyrighted so this should be a fair list
- Call-Back: The disclaimer page at the end of whatever serves as the latest update mentions that punishments for stealing aspects of the story without o's permission include beesuiting and spankings, two Running Gags back in cool and new web comic.
- Lampshade Hanging: A lot of Free Smiley's dialogue is him pointing out the typical conventions of a story. Such as how boring it would be if the gang could just teleport directly to the "villain's" lair.
- Nonstandard Character Design: Free Smiley is depicted in three dimensions, completely unique from any other character in TAIMVOIP or CANWC.
- Pixellation: How the obfuscation is manifested. All of the characers and objects Obfuscated are pixellated.
- Shout-Out: The "[REDACTED]" used by Free Smiley appears to be a namesake Portal, censored as apparently portals themselves are copyrighted in their entirety in this world.
- Stylistic Suck: Like its predecessor, most of the comic looks like it's drawn in MS Paint and the characters speak in a hammy, hard-to-understand way in reference to Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff. Also like the predecessor, this makes the "enhanced"/"normal" characters stand out far more.
