Salvadora
is a webcomic started in 2017 which is part of the Collective of Heroes. It features Carmen Camacho, a 21-year-old student at Blissday University, who can transform into the titular superheroine thanks to a meteorite. In her role, she has flight, super strength, and a truly heroic physique, all of which are vital to defeating the forces of evil. Carmen's roommate Jean wants to find out who Salvadora is, but never ultimately succeeds in doing so.
This webcomic provides examples of:
- Alt Text: Hovering over a comic reveals a joke or a humorous question. The very first one is "Oh hey, alt text!"
- Comically Missing the Point: "Ask the Cast! #3" has Jean consider why Carmen always leaves in a hurry. Just as it seems she has her superhero identity figured out, she deduces it's because she has a part-time job.
- Flying Brick: Salvadora's first two superpowers shown are Flight and Super-Strength with a getaway bus.
- Fun with Acronyms: The Heroic Institute of Costumed Crusaders, or THICC.
- Hypocrite: Pulchritidinous keeps making hypocritical mistakes which Salvadora uses to beat her. First she complains about female heroes being lauded for their looks before showing a thread full of people enjoying her thicc figure, then she complains about Salvadora eating artery-clogging filth despite her having a photo on Thirstagram eating some sort of burger.
- Most Common Superpower: Most of the superheroines in the comic are really busty, in addition to other curves.
- Shout-Out: When Salvadora lifts a bus, the sound effect used is "Swooce".
