Milhamah: Fighting Words
is a Military and Warfare Comic. It also contains elements of a Fantasy Webcomic. It is loosely based on the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Main characters in the comic:
- Etgar Toär: Has goggles that give him the power to activate shoresh roots.
- Shem 'Etzem: Jockeys for position of the Rebel Leader since he is the founder of the Holy Tongue Society.
- Tiqṿah Taṿit: Also sees herself as the Rebel Leader since she is the executive director of the Holy Tongue Society.
Other tropes in the comic:
- Brainwashed: A majority of the population is brainwashed by the Bavel Macrostructure, an evil regime that uses a reimagined Tower of Babel.
- Goggles Do Something Unusual: Etgar Toär has glasses that activate shoresh roots to give him speech act powers, as seen in this comic.
- Light Is Good: Shem uses holy powers for good in the comic in his priestly transformation.
- Rebel Leader: Tiqṿah Taṿit sees herself as the executive director of the Holy Tongue Society. She has to jockey for position with the protagonist Shem 'Etzem.
- Tower of Babel: Reimagined as a broadcast tower, Bavel.
