Judges have to have the full story.

Judgement Hall is an Undertale fanmade webcomic by HazeSpawn.

It tells the story of what happens to Sans after he manages to defeat and kill Frisk in the game's Genocide route after comfronting them in the Last Corridor. Little does Sans know, up to this point Frisk was far from alone. Or in control for that matter.

The story mainly focuses on Sans discovering the truth about Frisk's situation and both of them trying to deal with the consequences of Chara's actions.

The comic is complete and HazeSpawn has also uploaded several shorts and one shots to accompany it. Read them here.

There are several dubs across YouTube, but the most popular and well known is by SuperShadic X250. Watch it here.

Warning: Unmarked Undertale Spoilers below.

Provides examples of:

  • The Atoner: Both Sans and Frisk:
    • Sans is stricken with guilt for brutally killing Frisk before he knew they were being possessed. The fact he couldn't have known does not make him feel better, especially when he has to deal with the traumatized result of said killing.
    • Frisk is equally guilty for falling for Flowey's sob story and allowing Chara to posses their body. Just like Sans, the fact that they were tricked doesn't help at all.
  • Back from the Dead: Frisk. Then, later on: Papyrus, Toriel, Mettaton and Undyne.
  • Bloodier and Gorier: Much moreso than the game.
  • Break the Cutie: Poor, poor Frisk.
  • Character Focus: The comic is written from Sans' point of view.
  • Color-Coded for Your Convenience: The souls of the main monsters, which is in contrast to their actual white coloring in-game.
  • Damaged Soul: Frisk thanks to the trauma of being killed over and over by Sans. Gaster warns Sans that the damage is so bad, it will be hard for them to return to reality.
  • Darker and Edgier: Played with. The comic is bloodier and more violent and depressing than the game, but has a much happier ending than following the Genocide route to its conclusion.
  • Demonic Possession: Of Frisk by Chara. Sans even refers to Chara as a demon several times.
  • Demoted to Extra: All of the main Undertale cast save for Sans, Frisk, and Flowey only get brief cameos. Justified since they're dead for most of the comic.
  • Despair Event Horizon: Happens to Frisk for obvious reasons. Subverted with Sans, who seems to be heading that way, only to find a new reasons to keep going. First in helping Frisk, then in stopping Chara and Flowey.
  • Eating the Enemy: Turns out when a monster wants to absorb a human's soul, they have to physically eat it. Sans is disgusted by having to do it to Frisk's soul, but forces himself to do it even though it almost makes him vomit.
  • False Innocence Trick: Flowey pulls one on Chara's behalf.
  • Fighting from the Inside: Frisk tried to resist Chara but couldn't overcome them.
  • Good Is Dumb: Frisk feels this way about themself after falling for Flowey's lies about helping Chara.
  • Hated by All: Frisk is this to the Underground thanks to all the killing. Which makes it even more tragic that it was never Frisk at all.
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Happens to poor Frisk after Chara forces them to attack Sans. Afterwards they are broken in every sense of the word.
  • It's All My Fault: Frisk. See Good Is Dumb.
  • Murder Is the Best Solution: Chara (and Flowey) certainly thought so. Everyone else, not so much!
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Sans for reasons listed under The Atoner. He even says this nearly word for word at one point.
  • Narrator: Sans narrates what's going on around him.
  • One-Winged Angel: Photoshop Flowey gets an upgrade by merging with Chara's ghost.
  • Royally Screwed Up: Guess who?
  • Shell-Shocked Veteran: Frisk can qualify when you recall the humans and monsters are still technically at war.
  • Slasher Smile: Chara has one after they combine with Photoshop Flowey.
  • Stepford Smiler:
    • Sans tries to lift Frisk's spirits by slipping into his familiar comic persona, with mixed results.
    • Flowey, as usual.
  • Took a Level in Cynic: Frisk, very understandably. Fortunately Sans is able to help them begin to heal and regain some of their hope.
  • Trauma Button: Sans's glowing eye reminds Frisk of their fight and triggers an episode of PTSD.
