- Playing with Fire: Karen Blake, of the main cast, has pyrokinesis.
- Summer Campy: Despite the premise of the comic taking place in summer camp, the usual such horrors are averted for this, in favor of the drama coming from the kids themselves, whether their social dynamics or just trying to learn their powers.
