‘Woomanna’ (also known as ‘Do You Remember When We First Met?’/‘우리처음만났을때기억나?’ or ‘firstlovestory’) is a South Korean college romance drama, featuring the members of the K-pop girl group, LOONA, and their various love interests.

Currently, the web drama has 3 seasons with 6 episodes each, the first two starring the members of LOONA 1/3 and the third focusing on the members of ODD EYE CIRCLE. There are also special clips and episodes, some being animated and some being side stories to further expand the characters. All are subtitled in English on the Woomanna YouTube channel here.

Tropes:

  • Alone Among the Couples: Yeojin is the only LOONA member without any love interest. Lampshaded in the ‘special clip’ where she yells at her phone about her lack of a love interest.
Yeojin, to Google Assistant: Hey, does my boyfriend even exist?
  • Annoying Younger Sibling:
    • Yeojin to Haseul. She wakes her up by being as loud as possible, constantly calls her an animal or a pig, and attacks her for hanging out with a guy who has a girlfriend.
Yeojin, to a sleeping Haseul: Are you happy drinking until so late with a guy who’s already taken? You must be really happy. Aren’t you? Aren’t you?
Haseul: Hey, do you want me to kill you? Get the hell out!
Yeojin: Hansol’s girlfriend is really hot~ So different from an animal in this house.
    • Inverted as Haseul annoys Yeojin right back. Yeojin has two whole special episodes dedicated to complaining about Haseul, how she eats all of her food, ignores her, wears her clothing without asking etc. Watch it here and here.
  • Ascended Extra:
    • Kim Lip. In the first two seasons, Kim Lip was a minor character, usually seen in the background. When she is focused on, she has no lines. In the third, she’s one of the main characters.
    • Yeojin. She’s only a minor character with a few lines in each episode she’s in. But two of the side stories/special episodes focus entirely on her.
    • Yerim and Jinsoul. They’re minor characters in season 2, seen as Haseul’s friends. In the third season, they’re the main characters.
  • Beautiful Tears: After Heejin cries about being rejected by the teacher, Hansol talks about how adorable she looks.
Hansol, in the narration: I was so worried when you burst into tears, but you were so adorable.
  • Blatant Lies:
Yeojin [to Haseul], annoyed: Hey, did you drink my yogurt?
Haseul, drinking it right in front of her: *shakes head* Nope.
  • Childhood Friends:
    • Haseul and Hansol used to be friends in primary school, meeting again in college.
    • Kim Lip and Jisung have been friends for 10 years.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: Heejin.
    • She’s annoyed when Hansol’s friends take his attention away from her and prevent them from having private time.
    • She’s jealous of Haseul, who Hansol goes to after they have a fight, because of their close friendship.
    • She’s hurt when she walks into what appears to be Hyunjin confessing to Hansol with a gift.
  • Did Not Get the Girl: Hansol is single at the end, even though he had three of the girls in love with him at the start.
  • Drowning My Sorrows: Hansol goes out and gets drunk whenever he has an argument with Heejin. Lampshaded by Haseul when she complains about him inviting her out to drink so often.
  • Embarrassing Nickname:
    • Haseul used to call Hansol ‘Super Peanut’ when they were kids.
Hansol: You used to call me Super Peanut because I was so small.
    • Hansol has a similarly embarrassing nickname for Haseul.
Hansol: Hey, Haseul! I saved your number on my phone as ‘Smurf’s Shorts’.
  • Extreme Doormat: Haseul.
    • Jonghoon and Hansol both call her a pushover when they see her being ditched by a classmate and given more work.
Jonghoon: She was being a pushover. Maybe that was what got me interested in her.
    • Haseul’s groupmates for a school project talk about how Haseul can never say no to anyone and plan on skipping the meeting so she has to do the entire project by herself.
  • Forgotten Anniversary: Doah ditches Jinsoul on their sixth anniversary, on which she planned a dinner date to celebrate.
  • The Glasses Gotta Go: To prepare for his date with Haseul, Jonghoon takes off his glasses and starts to use contact lenses.
  • Hand Gagging: Hansol uses this to shut up Haseul when she’s complaining to Jonghoon.
Haseul: He has a girlfriend and she is-
Hansol, jerks up and immediately puts his hand over Haseul’s mouth: Oh no! She’s so drunk!
  • Hopeless Suitor: Hyunjin and Vivi end up as this for Hansol and Jonghoon respectively, as they both have girlfriends by the time they decide to pursue them.
  • I Don't Want to Ruin Our Friendship: Basically Kim Lip’s response to Jisung’s confession. Justified in that they’ve been friends for a decade and she doesn’t want to ruin that by dating and then inevitably breaking up. So they stay Just Friends.
  • The Klutz: Hyunjin. Her dropping things and Hansol subsequently helping her is the reason why she fell for him, and this happens multiple times throughout the series. She drops things and loses things so often that she has a special episode dedicated to it.
  • Limited Wardrobe:
    • Jonghoon and plaid button-up shirts. Parodied when he’s dressing for his date with Haseul and stresses over which one to wear. The only clothing in his bedroom is a rack filled with plaid button-ups.
Jonghoon, putting a plaid shirt up to his chest: Nah, the stripes are too vivid on this one.
    • Downplayed with Kyubin who only wears turtlenecks, but isn't in that many scenes so it's less obvious.
  • Love Dodecahedron: Hyunjin has a crush on Hansol who has a girlfriend named Heejin. He also has a good friend named Haseul who is also in love with him. Hansol’s friend Jonghoon has a crush on Haseul and they eventually start dating. Jonghoon’s coworker Vivi has a crush on Jonghoon. And that’s just the first two seasons.
  • Motor Mouth: Jonghoon after Haseul finds him outside of her house.
Jonghoon, in about five seconds: I was just here to see my friend who lives around here then I was very thirsty so I stopped by a store to get a drink and then I was just sitting down because the weather felt nice.
  • Mutual Envy: Heejin and Haseul. Haseul is jealous that Hansol loves Heejin while at the same time Heejin is jealous that Hansol spends so much time with Haseul.
  • Nice Guy: Hansol. His niceness leads to him befriending Jonghoon, making Hyunjin like him, and makes him popular throughout the university.
  • Oblivious to Love: Hansol. He’s totally unaware of Hyunjin and Haseul’s feelings for him. Justified for Haseul, who Hansol sees as One of the Boys, so the thought of them being together romantically is ridiculous to him.
  • No Romantic Resolution: Kim Lip’s romantic arc end like this. Her relationship with Jisung ends with the two deciding to remain friends.
  • Parody Name: In the 3rd season, the members of ODD EYE CIRCLE are in a club called… “CIRCLE ODDEYE”.
  • Precocious Crush: Flashbacks from their high school days show that Heejin had a crush on a teacher she and Hansol shared. Downplayed, as she would have been a teenager at the time.
  • Romantic Runner-Up: Hyunjin to Hansol and Heejin.
  • She Is Not My Girlfriend:
    • Hyunjin assumes that Haseul and Hansol are dating when she sees them hanging out at the pub together.
Hyunjin, gesturing to Haseul: Your girlfriend is beautiful.
Hansol: Who? Her? *bursts out laughing* She’s just a friend.
    • Haseul sounds like she thought Vivi and Hyunjin were together.
Haseul, to Vivi: You two look good together. It looked like you were looking after her?
      Vivi: She’s a friend.
  • The Stakeout: Kim Lip sets one up for Yerim so they can find out who Yerim’s ‘guardian angel’ is. Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Yerim stay overnight at the university by the lockers to see who puts a letter in Yerim’s locker.
  • Switching P.O.V.: Each episode focuses on the experiences of a different main character, who narrates the entire time.
  • Title Drop: Main characters frequently say the title, usually to their love interest and usually in their narration. “Do you remember when we first met?”
  • Unlucky Childhood Friend:
