"It's time to have some fun, with Uncle Samsonite."
Uncle Samsonite is a Horror Comedy web series created by YouTuber Jake Bowen. Beginning as a simple 30 second animation, the concept expanded into multi episode series. The series follows Jake Bowen (the fictional one, not the real one) and his dad as they attempt to rid themselves of the titular "Uncle Samsonite" an evil Humanoid Abomination dedicated to possessing one of them in order to permanently inhabit the world.

The show has two complete seasons and is at the beginning of it's third. You can view it on Jake Bowen's channel here.

This show provides examples of:

  • Cutting the Knot: Steve tries once again to foil Samsonite's pursuit by challenging him to a dance battle in S2 E7. Samsonite merely unplugs his music player.
  • Humanoid Abomination: The eponymous Uncle Samsonite, who is usually rendered as a 3D model of a chubby old man in brown pants and suspenders over a yellow shirt. He also has pony ears.
  • Leitmotif: "Pony" by Ginuwine, plays whenever Uncle Samsonite is near. Notably, this not just an artistic choice as not only do his victims discuss hearing the sound as well, the book Mr Dad reads in Vol. 4 notes that one of Uncle Samsonite's victims is Ginuwine.
  • Shout-Out: This series references a lot of other properties.
    • Vol. 4 not only refers to Uncle Samsonite as a "Great Old One", it also hints that Shrek is one as well. By S2 E9, Father John, Mr. Dad, and Sir Bowen are desperate enough to try and summon him using an onion.
    • Vol. 6 is a blatant reference to Stranger Things (Specifically referencing Will communicating to Joyce through flickering lightbulbs) right down to the episode's title "Danker Things".
    • S2 E3 shouts out major parts of The Exorcist, the episode appropriately being titled "Exorcism".
  • Weaksauce Weakness: Uncle Samsonite has two: he can't refuse the challenge of dance battle, and will continue dancing until the music cuts out; and off-brand soda, which acts as a Kryptonite Factor to him.
