P5 Confidants is a comedic Persona 5 fan series on YouTube using a visual novel format. It focuses on the daily lives of the Phantom Thieves, with occasional interactions with the other confidants as well.

Examples:

  • All for Nothing: Yusuke asks Haru to model for his next art piece at the park. A long time passes, however, to Haru's discomfort. Not helping matters is that a bee buzzes around her, but Yusuke insists she doesn't move. Once Yusuke is done, however, Haru learns that after having to stand still for several hours, Yusuke didn't even draw her at all, but a flower that caught her attention. She throws his piece into the river in retaliation.
  • Badass Teacher: When Shido strangles Mishima for thinking he tampered with his political campaign commercial, Kawakami proceeds to give him a beating.
  • Entertainingly Wrong: Mishima is captured and detained on suspicion of being the leader of the Phantom Thieves due to Ohya rambling about Mishima being the source of information to Akechi.
  • Humiliation Conga: Happens on occasion.
    • Morgana decides to room with the different members of the Phantom Thieves when Akira has to go away for a while. They all keep him up at night.
    • Shido is publicly humiliated at the Shujin School Assembly when Ryuji constantly coughs during his lecture, his campaign commercial that Futaba heavily edited plays in front of the audience, and Kawakami gives a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown for strangling Mishima. It happens again when Ryuji proceeds to troll him on a radio show, prompting Shido to go on a rant-inducing slight, destroying the equipment and (possibly) killing one of the hosts, most likely heard by the entire public.
  • Offscreen Moment of Awesome: We never get to see Kawakami beat up Shido, but the reactions of the cheering student body are heard along with beating sound effects, with Ryuji demanding someone record it. A later character portrait shows Shido bruised from the incident.
