Golden Wind Retold is a one hour and sixteen-minute long YouTube Poop Collab based off JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, created by Jack Duripper. Much like its predecessor, it is a skit video that more or less follows the same story as the source material. It was posted on April 5th, 2021.

In the Italian city of Naples, Giorno Giovanna joins the local mafia gang, Passione, in order to achieve his dream of becoming a gang-star. He joins forces with Bruno Bucciarati and his group, Leone Abbacchio, Panacotta Fugo, Guido Mista, and Narancia Ghirga. Giorno's new bizarre life leads him into danger, but he remains resolute and pushes forward.

Much like Diamond Is Unbreakable Retold, we're dictating very little of just how insane the plot is. Your best bet is to watch the actual video here.

Tropes:

  • Adaptational Alternate Ending:
  • Adaptational Superpower Change: A minor example, but the void behind Sticky Finger's zippers is connected to The Hand and Cream in this version, causing Bucciarati to be hit by an air bomb Okuyasu erased and Avdol to jump out and join Passione.
  • Big Damn Heroes: The fight against Formaggio gets interrupted by Avdol, who rescues Narancia and obliterates the enemy with Magician's Red's Crossfire Hurricane Special.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Giorno's idol killed a kid's father for not hitting the like and subscribe buttons.
  • Drugs Are Bad: As expected, it opens with a PSA from Bruno about this, ending with him warning you that if you use drugs you'll go to hell before you die.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Instead of being killed by Cream, Avdol (sans arms) was teleported to the train Giorno and Bucciarati have their fight on, popping out of a zipper and igniting the train with Magician's Red.
  • Tempting Fate: Polpo claims that the most despicable thing you can do is insult someone. He is displeased when Giorno immediately calls him a "bitch".
  • We Can Rule Together: Giorno's idol offers to rule Naples with the kid threatening him (who he claims is actually his son). When Mista shoots the kid, he makes the offer to him. Mista accepts.
  • You Wouldn't Shoot Me: Giorno tells Bruno that he's not going to kill him. Bruno immediately proves him wrong.
